Sacha was very excited about Santa Claus this year. So excited that at 3 in the morning he climbed into our bed and started asking if Santa had come and brought presents. He fell asleep again for a bit between 5-7am. The only other problem was that really the only toy Sacha wanted seemed to be a pop gun and having talked to Santa myself, I knew that he was not going to be bringing a pop gun. So we were a little anxious that Sacha would be disappointed instead of appreciating all his new toys. So luckily for us, even though Santa doesn’t bring dangerous toys (he even said so in his note) Granddad knows what little boys want and he sent him a pirate set that included not only a toy pistol but also a cutlass (eye patch, head scarf and earring were almost completely ignored). Margot and Max had also gotten him a foam sword as well. So Sacha spent the whole day having duels. Max and Margot also got Sacha a light sabre for his birthday and Mum got Max a light sabre for Christmas so there were many Starwars themed duels.
This pic was taken about 2 minutes before the ceramic frosty figurine with the green top hat was sliced in half.
This is one of my favourite pics. Sacha telling off Alice for trying to open a present before everyone woke up. “No No Baby Alice” is one of his favourite phrases.
