Last week, we had to go to Ikea to pick up some things for the new place and it was the first time that Sacha had been tall enough, old enough and potty trained enough to go to the kid’s play area instead of tagging along with us through the store.  He enjoyed it immensely.   He had been asking if we could go back to Ikea all week and on Sunday we figured, why not?  So we partook in some cheap meatball and lingenberry lunches and we dropped Sacha off to play for an hour.  The Coquitlam Ikea is better than the Richmond one (play room wise), the Coquitlam one still has a ball pit and it’s bigger.  I remember loving going to the Ikea ball room when I was little.  We didn’t really have to much we needed and I suggested we just find a livingroom display to hang out in for an hour, but of course we managed to find a few little things we had to have.  Mostly small shelves, because when you don’t have a lot of space, you have to go up.

It snowed a whole lot today near my work.  Lots of snow day rumours buzzing around, but when I drove home there is barely any here. It was kind of disappointing because I had wanted to take Sacha out to make snowmen.

Sacha is really showing how stressed out he is.  Moves always affect him like this and I don’t think he will be himself for about 6 months or so.  That is my bet anyway.  He is having tantrums a lot, being bossy, not listening.  It isn’t fun for us.  Hopefully it will pass more quickly if we can get into a good routine.
