We were approved to join the co-op. I am pretty excited. The area is really nice too. I had to pop by after work today to drop off some cheques. It is about 10 minutes away from my work and there need only be 4 turns to get there. Unfortunately at every turn on the way there I took the wrong one and then several wrong ones while trying to get back to the right spot. I ended up cracking out my phone to get GPS instructions and finally made it.
The benefit of not driving directly there was that I got quite the tour of the neighbourhood. Right around the corner is a big grocery store, a couple restaurants, a produce store, a liqour store, a library, a vet and a bunch of other little shops. Very handy. I am looking forward to January 1st when we get possession.
It doesn’t look like much, but the front of our unit doesn’t face the street, so I couldn’t take the picture. But it has a little fenced yard with a patch of grass and a patio, and a balcony off the master bedroom upstairs. I think it will suit us nicely for the time being.
