I wasn’t so tired right now, i think I would be giddy. I got my tooth fixed!! On Thursday, I talked to my regular dentist to get the price quote on just pulling the stupid thing and I was referred to yet another dentist who does both root canals and extractions and is much cheaper than the Endodontist I saw and had a time available to see me today (on a Saturday). In the end, it took 4 times as much freezing to make it numb for me, compared to a normal person. He said it was because I left it so long. And apparently it was a difficult root canal because my tooth had three roots and two of them have curves at the very bottom. But it is fixed. I am really interested to see what my mouth is going to feel like once the freezing wears off. He said I might still be a bit sore because of the abuse the tooth took in the root canal procedure but I wouldn’t feel any more pain when I eat or drink cold things right away.
Hopefully I will get a good sleep tonight. I have been woken up almost every night for the past 6 weeks because of tooth pain.
