I can’t believe Alice is 1 year old today. This year has gone by very quickly. In the last month, Alice experienced her first Halloween, has 5 teeth coming in all at once, has stood on her own for 30 seconds and added more and more foods to her diet. We have yet to find a food that she won’t try and she almost always finishes her dinner before Sacha. Alice is also making the transition to one nap per day instead of two, which means that she gets tired earlier at night but isn’t quite so house bound. She is still called “Baby Alice” pretty much all the time in our house and I have a feeling it might be a nickname that sticks around longer than she will like.

If the elephant makes it, I will try to get a picture on each of Alice’s birthdays for at least the next couple years. However, Oliver has decided that the elephant makes a nice pillow and has taken to sleeping on it. It has taken more and more fluffing up to get him to sit up on is own as the year has progressed.
