Jack-o-Lanterns

Andrew and the kids came into town this weekend rather than me going up to the coast.  I had the worst commute so far on Friday night and the normal 45min-1hour commute took me 2 to get home.  I finally got to go see my dentist yesterday, I have had an incredibly painful tooth that I had been putting off seeking help for because I was told I needed a crown and wanted to wait until I had a dental plan to cover some of the cost.  Turns out, while I do have a cracked tooth, that will need a crown at some point, it is the tooth next to that one giving me grief.  Apparently I have a bruised nerve in one tooth, possibly from grinding my teeth at night (he asked if i have been under any stress lately – hahaha).  I have now been referred to an endodontist to see if the nerve is permanently damaged and i will need a root canal, or if it can be saved.

After leaving my dentist with my tooth still unfixed, Sacha, Alice and I met up with Tina and went bowling.  Sacha was happy for about 5 frames. We managed to get him to bowl 7 frames, then Tina just took him to the arcade while I finished up the last of it.  We had to pretend he was 5 so they would let him bowl.  There were at least 2 other “5” year olds bowling next to us too, so we weren’t the only ones being a little creative with ages.  He was very cute in his little bowling shoes too. Today we carved our pumpkins.  Unfortunately one had rotted so it was unusable.  But we had lots of fun scooping, carving and cooking up the pumpkin seeds.
